Hello to All,   I'm noticing in another thread here (having to do with guest WiFi)  stated that Facebook has a service called "Facebook Wifi" which only supports some routers according to their supported product page. I'd like to know opinions of other laundromat owners that have deployed networking equipment that supports Facebook Wifi and can give their opinion and reviews of the service? I have been looking at several options such as consumer grade routers from Linksys/Netgear/Asus to commercial equipment like Ubiquiti or Cisco.

Please let me know your experiences as I'm coming from a Linksys router that doesn't support captive portals or Facebook Wifi and want to be well researched before making a purchase.  Thank You  Mark

I have an open mesh facebook wifi portal.  FB check-in is flawed. On android devices, a splash page will redirect users to check-in.  On apple devices, it does not.  They can still connect to the wifi and use phone apps instead.  Only when they try to use a browser, it redirects to FB.

Did you ever make a decision on which switch/access port to go with?  I am considering Cisco with a Ubiquiti access point.
