I am not going to give a space launch recipe about the problems implementing Full Cycle Dry without attendants, instead, I am going to give you the Advantages for Full Dry Cycle and from them, you can elucidate your own conclusions. Only if you pay serious attention.
You cannot implement a Full Cycle Dry it without an ATTENDANT. At least at the beginning, you will need an ATTENDANT until all customers are tamed as to how to use the new procedure, how to get the most advantages from it, how to using it will save money / time / guessing / disappointments / frustrations, etc.
And the money you well spend in the ATTENDANT will be rewarded a thousand percent.
Disclousure: I am ATTENDED full time <from opening to closing> if you did not expect it. Sorry to disappoint you.
We do Full Vend on the Dryers at $3.00 for 75 lb. $2.25 for 45 lb. and $1.50 for 30 lb. dryers.I've set it for 36 minutes per advice from Brian Henderson at Liberty Laundry on the Forum. Customer can add quarters to make it longer if needed. Initial resistance to change lasted for 2 weeks. Posted signs around the store explaining the reason for the change. Took them down after 2 months. Now, far less complaints. Streamlines the store and takes customers less time to do their laundry. Less laundry sitting around in the dryer waiting for customers to add quarters. Customer think the dryers work better ;-). The only confusion now is when a new customer walks in. "This is how we do it and the reason why ..." usually gets them over the difference quickly. Personally I would not go back to quarter per minute ever.
