R. Anderson,
Yes, that is an amazing find at an amazing price.
I haven't bought them from Alibaba, but I have bought other things and I am usually well satisfied. For instance, After Liberty Tickets went out of business, (the company that made the ticket books that dry cleaners have used for decades), I started buying them from a Chinese source. Cheaper, and decent quality, but 3 months lead time though.
I used to buy laundry bags from local companies here in NYC, but their quality was not consistent. I would order 200 denier bags, and they would mix in 100 denier bags (a thinner fabric).
Years ago, there were companies down south, Virginia & South Carolina I believe, that made laundry bags from any kind of scrap overruns of nylon material. Some bags were even made of other fabrics. It was like a box of chocolates from the Forest Gump movie, "You never know what you'll get"
I have found that like the others here, Cleaners Supply sells the best quality and most consistent quality bags at good prices. They don't burn you on shipping either. You can't go wrong with them.
However, being that Cleaner's supply must make a profit, I have to wonder where they get them....Alibaba maybe?
I always paid my own employees to screen print our name & logo on the bags. A nice perk for them.
For us, having our name on the bags works out very well. Cheap advertising.

Paulie, that is an amazing find. Have you purchased these before? How is the quality?
I'm getting mine from Cleaner's Supply also. So far have just got the generic (blank) ones (30X40 with drawstring). We price them at $5. Purchase price is $2.84 per bag for 100.
Question: Do customers like having the name of mat on the bag? I know it is good for the mat but maybe a turn off for customers? If I'm a customer I would pay more for the blank one instead of the walking advertisement. If you are going for margin, blank is the way to go.
How much is the walking advertisement worth? I know of another mat that gives away bags (with ad) to customers just to get their name out there.

I sell my Cleaners Supply bags through a Vision vendor for $7 each. They have my logo and laundromat name printed on them.

Hi Larry,
wow! 200 per month?! That's awesome!
We use Cleaner supply too and I agree on the quality of the bags but an order of 50 bags last us forever!
We don't have a vending machine for the laundry bags, we keep two bags on displays in our store and we sell them over the counter when customers want to buy one. We sell the custom printed 30 X 40 without the strap but it is not a easy-to-sell product for us and I wish we could sell more or them. How do you price them to still have a decent margin?

Are you marketing your company?
You are from "Laundry Bags Online" right?
Is that the same company as "Idel"?
