STT30NZR Programming

Hello everyone.  I hope you all had a good Christmas.  I have a problem I hope someone can help me with.  I have 4 STT30NZR dryers that I bought used and I am wanting to set the high, medium and low temperatures on them.  I can get into the manual mode for programming by opening and closing the service door then pressing low heat and medium heat at the same time.  However, when I scroll to "prog" and press start - nothing happens.  According to my manual, pressing start should take me into the programmable options. Once there I can navigate and set them.
    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    Dave

Do you have a long coin box installed?
You can't program anything without the coin box switch closed.

I'll have to take a look at the coin box length.  I can't remember right off the bat.
Thanks for the advice - I appreciate it.

I DO have the long coin boxes.  I can get into the manual program mode up to the point where the display shows "PROG" for program, but pressing the start button has no effect (neither does any other button on the keypad.)  Do I have to keep the dryer computer panel out so that the switch behind it isn't closed?  This is happening on eight of these particular dryers by the way.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Dave,

To enter programming mode, you OPEN and  CLOSE the upper access panel.  Then you press 2 buttons at the same time ( I think the high and low buttons).

If you have been leaving the panel open, that could be the reason you cannot get further into programming.

If you have specific questions, I can look up the steps for my Huebsch dryers.

Hi Larry.  Yeah I have been opening and closing the service door as I do on my other dryers.  It's just these 8 dryers that are somehow different.  They were formerly netmaster card machines so maybe that has something to do with it.
If you find anything I sure would appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Dave,

These are the directions for my older dryers.

    1. Dryer must NOT be in an active cycle.
    2. Open and close the service door.
    3.  Press the high and medium temp buttons at the same time.
    4.  The display will show SPC.
    5.  Press the high and medium temp buttons at the same time.
    6.  Display will show SIg.
    7. You are now in the first programmable item which is for setting audio signals.
    8.  Press the low temp button repeatedly to scroll down to the 12th item which is HdE - high temp setting.
    9.  Press the start button.  A 3 digit number will appear in the display.
    10.  004=180, 005=185, 006=190.
    11.  Press low temp or no heat buttons to change 3 digit code number.
    12. Press start pad when correct code is displayed.
    13.  Scrole down using low temp pad until you see PdE displayed.  This is the medium temp setting.
    14.  Press start and a 3 digit code number will be displayed.
    15.  003=145, 004=150, 005=155, 006=160.
    16.  Press the low or no heat pads to set correct code number.
    17.  Press start pad when correct code number is displayed.
    18. Press the high and medium temp pads at the same time to exit programming mode.  The control will revert back to ready mode.

Dave,  I think you were missing the action of pushing high and medium temp pads together the SECOND TIME.

    I hope this helps.
