The Coin Laundry Association
recently announced that it has promoted Nika Thomas to the position of advertising and production manager for PlanetLaundry. Originally from Chicago, Thomas joined the CLA in August 2013 as the organization’s media sales/classified advertising coordinator.
“Nika has had a strong positive influence on the changes and growth of the PlanetLaundry advertising program,” said CLA Chief Operating Officer Michael Sokolowski. “Through her excellent work, she has been instrumental in improving our advertiser relationships and creating efficiencies in the way we sell and manage advertising.”
In her new position, Thomas will oversee the production schedule for print and digital advertising. In addition, she will continue to activate all ad campaigns for the PlanetLaundry and CLA websites, manage the overall billing process, and monitor digital ad performance.
“Being with PlanetLaundry and the CLA over the last five and a half years has been nothing but great,” explained Thomas, who holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Elmhurst College. “No day is ever the same. I’m constantly learning and loving every minute of it. I have definitely seen the growth in myself since I joined the company in 2013. I enjoy working with all of our advertisers and am thrilled about the incredible things yet to come at this association, as well as within the vended laundry industry!”
